Didi’s Frieden has been on Zurich’s “culinary map” for quite some time, and lots people will agree that it is one of the finer places for a delicious meal in the city. I had been there in June of 2013 to celebrate a birthday, and had enjoyed myself thoroughly. They didn’t disappoint then, and this time was even better.
Fresh ingredients, beatifully prepared dishes, delicious tastes, and a certain amount of attention to detail that is not easy to come by: my personal highlight was my main course of pumpkin ravioli. A little taste of cinnamon and ground nutmeg that made them simply divine. The consensus of our little group of four was that the “seafood plate” (crowned by scallops), as well as the “Wolls
