Hallo Amelia, hallo Philippe,

heute (5.6.!!!!!) kam Eure Namaste-Karte aus Indien – geschrieben am 5.3.09 vor der Abreise nach Nepal). Ich habe mich sehr gefreut und schon ziemlich viel im blog gelesen.

Leider habe ich den Burma-Teil Pynoolwyn, Hsipaw mit ganztägigem Motorradfahren im Gebirge nicht gefunden.

Wie sind die Pläne nach Nepal? für Indien und dann weiter?

Stay in contact und eine schöne Zeit noch in Nepal und dann in Indien, meinem absoluten Lieblingsland.

Bin gespannt, ob Ihr diese Reply lest und ob ich eine klitzekleine Mail-Antwort bekomme.

Hi Amelia & Phil – thanks so much for Nepali “HAPPY NEW YEAR” greetings! (Only heaven knows on which cloud I’ll be sitting in 2066…!). Had a look at your impressive photo gallery – wow! Wirklich sehr eindrücklich! Landschaft muss – im wahrsten Sinn des Wortes – atemberaubend sein; mir wär’s zu hoch. Euer Bericht über durchfrorene Nächte und die kulinarischen Feinheiten der Region klingen absolut nach Abenteuer – wie sich’s eben für Trekker gehört. Um so intensiver werdet Ihr geniessen, wenn Euch die westeuropäische (schwyzerische) Gastro-Zivilisation wieder hat! Wünsche erlebnisreiches Trecking in der Everest-Region. Sorry it took me such a long time to look up your site up, read your sweet note and respond. I’d been in Africa since March 5.

Thanks for your kind words and sentiments. I enjoyed our time together very much. I hope the rest of your journey together – through Asia and life – is even more pleasant. I hope we all get a chance to spend more time together in the not too distant future.

My work here is almost done. Tomorrow I’m on my way home via Zurich to see Mom for a couple of days. I look forward to that. I wish you all were there as well, but I am comforted by the knowledge that you all are exactly where you all wish to be and enjoying it.

Have a wonderful rest of the journey. Keep posting those wonderful pix. Take good care of yourselves and each other. Write when the spirit moves you.

So sorry to miss your happy birthday.hope it was grand!! This is so easy to be in touch, I will use it more..All is well here, Charlie is 17 months now, just fell out of the crib for the first time…more like heaved himself over the side, of ocurse on my babysitting watch…! Weather is warming up at last,but today was a ski day, cancelled due to rain…Loved the surfing flix..and the picture of Mummy with the slippys on…
